Historique

Maguire avenue, located in Sainte-Foy-Sillery-Cap-Rouge area in Quebec city, is the main commercial street of Sillery. The street was named after Father Alexandre Eustache Maguire who had the street built to extend the côte de Sillery and thus ease the access from Saint-Michel church   to Gomin road cemetery.
